I ADORE the vintage clown toppers...just what i need as an excuse to make cupcakes!

Those little toppers send me right back to the seventies when I was in grade school...I can still taste those yummy cupcakes. And now you get to make a batch! I can't wait to see pictures. Email me your info at dimestorethrift@aol.com

I just went into the Etsy shop and removed them to package them up and send them your way...Congratulations Amanda! And thanks to everyone who participated, it was fun to see what you all were loving!
Hugs, Sonya

I can't believe that Dime Store Thrift has been in existence now for nearly a year. The blog-buddies I have made, the people who comment, the folks that email...it is all so good.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for stopping by here each day or when you have some time to blog browse. I am so honored to be on your list of places to visit.

So I am thinking that we need to do a little Blog Anniversary Giveaway, Yes?

We are going to make this one easy. I am not going to make you become a follower (but you can). I am not going to make you post this giveaway on your own blog if you have one (but you are welcome to). And I am not going to make you retweet me on Twitter.

All you need to do to enter this giveaway is leave a comment on this post telling me what you like in my Etsy shop. Just click HERE and that will take you there.

And if you are the randomly selected winner, you get to go into my Etsy shop and pick out a free treasure of your very own. And I will ship that treasure off to you completely free of charge as my way of saying thank you for this past year. (It is an active shop and in the event the item that you were loving sells in the meantime, you can just pick out something else...there are always cool things popping up in the shop, especially this Christmas!)

Winner will be drawn on Thursday morning, November 19th.

And away we go!

I absolutely love all of your vintage Christmas goodies in your etsy shop! I have an obsession with all things vintage and kitschy when it come to Christmas. This will be my daughter's first Christmas so I am in the process of collecting some great treasures. Love your blog : )

It's so hard to pick a favourite, everything is exactly my taste - except the clowns, I'm scared of them! I love the snowmen but I think the cake decorating stencils are fantastic (wait... is that a clown... eep!)

I adore your Xmas stuff! But my favorite is the Vintage Avon Merry Christmas Tree 1979. I find myself thinking about it again and again...Weird no? I picture it on my coffee table full of nibbles...so full of cheer! ;)

All the stuff in your shop is neat, but I really like the birthday clown heads. They remind me of class cupcakes when I was an elementary school girl.

I only just became a follower last week, so I hope I can enter! Everything in your shop is so cute, but if I had to pick just one thing that I would really, really want to win, it would be that sweet Frosty the Snowman picture. I love it!
Have a great day!

Love the Rudolph framed pictures, actually any of the frames book pages that you have done. This would be my first glitter item in years! ;)

Everything in your shop looks "cool"! The glittered book pages - what a great idea! I think my favorite, though, is the vintage cake stencils - brings back those memories.

Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary! I've only recently discovered your blog, but I enjoy seeing what you're up to.

Ooh, I can't decide! I've narrowed it down to either the Frosty book page or the Rudolph and the Misfit Toys. They're both great!

Since I just found your blog yesterday, I can't really say much yet, but I sure loved what I saw. And it was so nice of you to write back and say you liked my pictures!

I love the Brass West German Stars, they make me want to clean my fireplace mantle off and decorate!

It would have to be a toss up between the whip o matic or the green avon xmas tree. I love buying xmas decorations!

I like the picture pages in the frames but the frames seem too modern for the pictures. It's like they need something more delicate.

Hi Sonya,

Thanks for visiting my blog! It's great to hear from another Iowa girl. We'll have to compare notes someday on our favorite places for thrifty finds!

I really like the glittered Santa and Frosty in the frames. I've looked twice and still can't decide which one I like better!

I'd say that I love the little 45 record of Christmas songs, except I HAVE it from when I was a little girl! LOL! I think I like the Pyrex Oil and Vinegar set ... I love retro kitchen stuff and those are similar to a salt and pepper set my mom had years ago. :)

I couldn't possibly pick just one thing I like (at the moment)! Love the 45 record, the childrens book, the Christmas card record book, the framed pics of rudolph and frosty, and the reindeer dream pet...lol! Nice giveaway, Thanks! All the best on your transition away from Etsy.
