I am seldom able to pass by old Nativities when thrifting.
Those little Shiny Brites always come home with me...It is like I am on a one-woman mission to save them. But since they are small, I always scoop them up.
All Nativities give me a moment of pause, but OH! Those gorgeous Italian versions! I found this a few weeks back at Goodwill and was thrilled to pieces:

Well, that's perfect, because I feel that I am on a one-woman mission to save the rest of the vintage Christmas stuff, so between the two of us we'll have, I mean SAVE it all!

Lovely! I'm saving nativities out here in Oregon! I'm almost jealous of your new set, but not quite, since over the weekend I have acquire some new pieces myself! One-woman mission, too!
I'm with you, Sonya. I love all nativity scene people and animals with a special love for the Italian ones. Yeah, I'd have snatched those up, too.
