Glittering Red Hearts At Memory Lane

I spent some time pretty-ing up the booth at Memory Lane on Tuesday...my neighbor who I share the booth with had surprised me by decorating the booth with wonderful glittery red hearts!

I had moved some stuff around so that rack of clothing could be there for a couple weeks. Typically, the booth is more about decor, not clothing, but we will see if it moves or not.

That really looks cheerful! Reminds my of the Valentine tree my mother used to put on the table every year. She took a small tree branch, sprayed it white (I suppose you would use glitter!!) and stick it in a nice vase. She cut out cupids and hearts from red and pink construction paper, run a need and thread through the top and hang them. In later years she did "theme" trees for other occasions, with a black branch, for example, for Halloween. I still have those valentine cutouts and would like to use them, but think the cats might "like" them too much!

Your booth really is pretty!

The hearts add some "look at me" flair. Every booth needs some of that, as we're all competing for a customer's eye. My sister and I sell handknitted scarves and hats in our booth and need something to display them well. I am always on the lookout for a good display stand for those.

I love twinkling lights... anywhere. I will even put them up in my home year round.

Can you share on the success on your booth...I am definitely thinking about doing something similar...
thanks
Lisa
