Love the cute twinkie holder!! My love's Mom sent him a painting from Southern Florida with Fragile etc all over, the package arrives, and there is a huge tear down the middle of the painting. She didn't get it insured either... One would think by having Fragile it would be okay. It's sad to hear the goodies were broken or smashed, maybe she can turn the shards into some kind of stepping stone or something? Hope you have a wonderful Saturday!
Well, that really stinks! The lady at the mail box store talked me into a bigger box with more packing for the little owls I sent you - it was a cute little box, but the owls might not have been so cute when they arrived at your house! I'm glad they did not meet the fate of Holly's goodies...
Oh, I'm sorry about that...doesn't that just make you sick? Try and have a good weekend!Christina :)
Oh, Sonya! I hated to tell you but I figured you'd ask and I'm a terrible fibber! Remember I'll be able to glue 2 of them and turn them slightly so no one will be able to tell! I'm just wondering if I should wait to glue until after my cross country move, though... I know it's easy for me to say, "Don't feel bad." but please don't! Like I said, I wasn't expecting more than one planter and here I got 2 instead! ☺ ♥
Holly, wait to glue them until your cross country trip:) Then send me your new address and I will somehow, some way make this up to you...I promise!
I honestly can't believe that I haven't been the recipient of some shattered packages too. We had a mailman who would toss our packages up by the door, not set them there. I had to complain to the post office, and thankfully he isn't on our route anymore. That Twinkie holder is too cute!
I've learned NOT to write "fragile" on packages -- it's the kiss of death. There are some perverse types in the postal service who make it a point to manhandle packages so clearly marked.
I am sorry about your mishap in mailing. However, that Twinkie holder is the silliest thing I've ever seen. Can't stop staring at it!! Stan
