Hubby attached a new mailbox to the front of our home and I couldn't get my hands on the old one to glitter fast enough. I made one a year or two ago using Christmas-y red glitter and was planning on doing a re-creation of that one. Until I saw the beautiful orange glitter I had tucked away! Bring on the cooler temps of fall...

I thought a little more about it - I'M NOT READY FOR SUMMER TO BE OVER! But fall is coming fast... Good thing about that is (besides seeing the cool things you make), that much sooner till my first grandchild is here! Due Nov. 1. So far, I have made a quilt (hand-quilted), a baby jacket, knitted several baby hats and am about to make a diaper bag, for which I let my DIL pick the fabric.
I had a friend who lived in Iowa and she said it was fabulous finding treasures at auctions & flea markets up there. I have always wanted to attend Whatcher Iowa flea market.
