Those are adorable!! Yes, you should build one! My mother grew up with one, and all us kids later played in it. It is now on it's 3rd life as a garden shed! It started life out as a chicken coop. When my grandparents bought the house about 1931/2, my grandfather cleaned it out and fixed it up to be a playhouse - my mother and her sister were then about 6 and 9. I was finally able to get a picture of it about 3 years ago when the house went on the market. I'll have to send you a picture of it...
I finally looked up the title of a book I have (not sure where) that is a small book called Tiny Book of Tiny Houses, by Lester Walker. Lots of pictures and interesting reading as well.
