One project I did get done this week was the autumn and Halloween decorating. I had completely forgotten how much I love my owl collection and am glad I packed away my favorites to put out during this time of year.
I love it. It's very elegant, the black and orange...but the opposite of my cluttered mayhem. I often fantasize that I will minimize, but always end up overdoing it. The owls are cool. My daughter started collecting them..and now I am going to start for Halloween! Zootsuitmama
It is HARD not to overdo it...I completely understand. The last few years I have really tried to tone it down (easier to do for Halloween but really hard for me to do at Christmas!!) and tried to make sure that we *loved* every single thing we were putting out. It does help when dragging out the rubbermaids to ask myself if I love it or not and donate what is not loved as much as I think it should be:) And let me know what owls you find! There are so many cool ones out there!
I love all your stuff! I am a Halloween junkie - seems I have more of that than Christmas items! Wish we could go thrifting together - my time seems to be so short lately!
