The Find by Stan Williams Giveaway!!

Loyal readers of Dime Store Thrift know the name Stan Williams.

Frugal hearts leap a bit when they hear of the book entitled The Find.

Stan has changed the face of Thrifting with his upbeat, positive attitude and knowledge of the trade. He first entered my radar back in 2008 and I remember thinking "I love his title of The Elegant Thrifter!" How cool to think of Thrifting as Elegant and something to be proud about. Especially these past few years as the economy faltered and more and more people were learning that you CAN be Frugal and Fabulous.

I've had the honor of interviewing him back in July of 2009 and believe I was the first one ever to publish his famous pineapple upside down cake recipe that he was so secretive about for so long!

Stan is the kind of guy that just immediately goes straight into your heart lives there forever more. He has been one of my biggest supporters and is always there with a kind word to make my day brighter. Even though our conversations have been limited to emails back and forth the past couple years, I truly count him as one of my very good friends and know that when I finally get to meet him face to face it will be the cherry in the pineapple on top of that wonderful cake he makes!

And now I have the honor again of giving one lucky reader of Dime Store Thrift the gift of The Find!! The book will come to you directly from Stan and SIGNED!

Go visit his blog at www.elegantthrifter.blogspot.com and leave a comment.

Then come back here and tell me what you are thankful for this holiday season.

We will randomly draw a winner on Thanksgiving. Ready...Set...GO!

Where to start with being grateful...? I'm grateful for being healthy, for my supportive friends and family, and for my ambition. Who could need anything else?

This weekend I will dive into crafting to make gifts for the family and friends to show them how much I appreciate their support :) Keep them crafts coming, we need inspiration!

Okay, I'm thankful that I'm in Canada where we celebrate Thanksgiving MUCH earlier so I don't have to deal with it so close to Christmas! :D

I am so thankful for my husband, who has been a huge supporter, and fixer of my junk, as I have become a dealer this past year. My kids, mom, and sister have also been such a big help, with all the flea markets I did. I am blessed to have such great family!

Dearest Sonya: I have followed your blog for almost a year now and love, love, love that others share my passion for thrifting and frugal fabulous living. I am thankful that God has given me my dear husband of over 20 years, our beloved 19 year old son, who has triumphantly overcome great obstacles in his young life and our cherished 17 year old daughter who has been the best apprentice a thrifting mama can ask for. She is a delightful young woman and I would love, love, love to surprise her with Stan's amazing book for Christmas. During this season of joy and thanks, please know that you have brightened many days for me. Much love, Lori

I am thankful for today and everything it holds - great family and friends, a roof over my head, plenty to eat. My husband is out of work but we have saved so we are not in desperate straits. I love shopping at thrift stores and garage sales and so far my lovely daughter loves the clothes I find there. I would love the book!
