I found a few old treasures myself today. That nativity set you have is so sweet and that it still has the Woolworth's sticker on the base makes it even more special!

Great finds! I've checked out several local thrift shops, some OK stuff, but not much special has jumped out. I guess I should open that mixed bag from Goodwill I just bought (put it away to keep curious cats out and then forgot!)It does have stuff I can use on a wreath but who knows what's buried inside.

Oh, couldn't you just thrift every single day at this time of the year?! I feel like I'm missing something great, every day that I don't go. It's a sickness, isn't it? That Santa wasn't waving, his hand was totally saying "STOP! BUY ME,SONYA"!

I have that Nativity set, but as a little kid, bought it piece by piece at Ben Franklin. I left the tags on, too. It is still put up at Christmas, a little worse for wear, but....

I have got to get out there and hit some shops! That little Santa is really cute -- especially love the trees poking out of the sleigh. Great scores!!
