Second Season on Pierce Street. Hands down, that store is calling me and it is calling loudly. So that means something pretty cool is waiting for me to find it!
What are you collecting right now? What is making your mind tingle? Is there something you used to collect and find yourself not as enthused about it as you once were?
Things that still make my heart pitter patter are:
Great new books for 50 cents:
Vintage Christmas:
Cool pieces from the 60's and 70's:
I feel a new collection coming on, I just don't know what it is yet!

Like going Christmas shopping...for yourself! Have some great fun, Sonya! I will have to wait another week before I can burn rubber getting out to thrift.

I love to thrift too, but don't ever find too much exciting. I always head to the book shelves and the dishware. Love finding a newly released book that I have been wanting to read. Currently am searching for Johnson Brothers china. Love it. There are so many patterns and I love them all. Happy Thrifting.
I'm always on the lookout for vintage holiday stuff and pottery. I can't wait 'til flea market season starts, because I think there must be someone in the back rooms of the thrift stores, holding all the good stuff. Saddle up girl, and I hope you ride off into the sunset with some great treasures!
Oh! And sewing patterns...I SO wish I knew how to sew. I don't buy them but always take the time to look at them. Someday, right? :)
Hope you find something fabulous!
love the sunburst clock!
Glad to see others sharing the same enthusiasm for going to the thrift. I've been stumbling upon vintage cameras everywhere I go. If the price is right, I snatch them up. Yesterday I scored an oversized camera bag from the '60s for $3. Great for road trips and photo shoots. I can't wait to haul it all over the city once the weather is warmer.
Oh, the clock! How much was that little gem, though if you say $1 my eyes will go green with buyers envy. I love seeing what others score, but sometimes, I do get a bit lustful. Does that happen to other people? Not that I begrudge your lucky strike, I just want one too! Sometimes we really hit the stores just right and you did for sure.
The clock, purchased last summer, was a bit more than I spend while thrifting...I think it was $10? But I LOVED it and it now hangs downstairs in the studio making me very happy everytime I check the time:)
Vintage Christmas still makes my heart pitter patter after all these years. And I'm talking a lot of years. I loved it when it was new. LOL
You found the clock at the thrift store? I wish our thrifts had good stuff like that. We're lucky to find anything that came from Wal-Mart instead of The Dollar Tree.
Now that we've gotten some warmer weather, I'm ready to "thrift"! I love getting out there and finding things that are calling my name.
