So now I know where my parents got their wreaths with the plug-in candles and cardboard poinsettia. Last year I used one of them as a base to make a vintage ornament wreath, using some of my childhood ornaments. Turned out great. Thanks for sharing that.

Wouldn't it be great to find all that vintage goodness in one place, I think we can only dream....

I have three of the candoliers. I luckily found them a few years ago at a senior homes white elephant sale. I would love to find some of the things you have wished for too!

When I saw those ads I was excited to be able to date a few things, too.
And Jill, I want to make a blog dedicated to your vintage christmas pins...they are so wonderful!!

I dream of finding an old Woolworths or a dime store (around here it was Katz), and everything is the same as the day it closed back then! I do have a few of the things on that ad, though...The Angel - but not musical, the candleabras, and a few other things. They are my fav things to find this time of year.
